Data Infra service

Commercial Network Cabling

Network performance depends on more than the electronics. Data Infra builds the physical links between work areas, wireless access points, cameras, building systems and the network rooms that serve them.

Commercial Network Cabling in a commercial network environment
Scope & approach

Infrastructure that supports the next technician, not only the install date

Our network cabling scopes cover new installations, extensions, damaged-link replacement and cleanup of legacy pathways. We work from drawings when available and verify field conditions before finalizing routes.

Cable category, pathway capacity, distance and Power over Ethernet demand are considered together. The finished system is terminated, identified and organized so future troubleshooting does not begin with guesswork.

Frequently asked questions

Final requirements depend on the site, drawings, equipment and approved statement of work.

What cable category should a business install?

The answer depends on application, distance, PoE load and expected service life. Cat6 is common; Cat6A can be a better fit for multigigabit and higher-power designs.

Can old cabling be reused?

Existing links can be reviewed and tested, but age, category, pathway condition and documentation determine whether reuse is sensible.

Do you install active network equipment?

Yes. Equipment installation can be included with rack, patching and turn-up assistance under an approved scope.
